Examples in the documentation here are still using version 3 so are incompatible with the updated demo map and app. The algorithm is the same but uses the alphabet "6789B5NPQC4MXRD3LWTF2KJHG".
This is a short list of test locations. Some are addresses. Some are just points-of-interest.
The test data uses Google Maps for GPS coordinates. Google imagery isn't always accurate - but strictly as a test of the GPS compression code it works fine. A range of sites to test the bounds of the Island of Ireland are used. Note, that as a logical code, how the OpenPostcode sorts correctly according to location.
To demonstrate the ease of conversion and publication of OpenPostcodes (something which would need a license from either GO Codes and Loc8 Codes proprietary codes) we have a couple of examples here.
